Our Archive is grouped by subject into two major collections. Each collection is organized into a series of individual portfolio pages covering many different subjects. There are two ways to go about looking for an image. You may choose a collection and a portfolio, then browse through the images; or you may use our site searching tool. 

When you find the images you need, click on License to submit an image licensing request. Our licensing partner, The Image Works, will contact you with a quote. If you do not find the pictures you need on our site, they may nevertheless exist within the more than 75,000 images in our archives. Please call Take Stock directly at 415 479-6994 and tell us what you are looking for. We will be happy to search our files and send you a custom selection for review. .
